Cookie policy
Last reviewed: 23 July 2026
This site shows no cookie banner because it only uses cookies exempt from the consent requirement (art. 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE and the Spanish Data Protection Agency's cookie guide, May 2024 edition). For transparency, here is what they are, what they do and how to control them.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser to save and retrieve information — for example, the language you chose. The law requires consent for most cookies, but exempts those strictly necessary to provide the service you request and the preference cookies you choose yourself.
The cookies on this site
This is the complete inventory. There are no advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies:
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Duration | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | First-party | Remembering the language (Spanish or English) you choose manually with the selector or the language suggestion. Only created if you choose. | 1 year | User-chosen preference: exempt from consent |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe (payment gateway) | Payment fraud prevention and detection. Only set when the secure payment form loads. | 1 year | Payment security cookie: exempt from consent |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe (payment gateway) | Payment fraud prevention and detection during the payment session. Only set when the secure payment form loads. | 30 minutes | Payment security cookie: exempt from consent |
Remembering your bookings (local storage)
Besides cookies, this site uses the browser's first-party local storage (localStorage) to remember, on this device, the bookings you yourself have made: the booking code, the route, the date and the status, together with your booking-management link. It is used solely to show you, when you return to the home page, the status of your next booking and to take you to its management page; it holds no payment data, is not used for advertising or tracking, and never leaves your browser except to ask this same site for the status of those bookings.
It is strictly necessary for the service you request (remembering your bookings to show you their status), so it is exempt from consent just like technical cookies. Entries delete themselves 24 hours after each service, and you can remove them at any time by clearing your browser's site data, following the same steps as for cookies.
Cookieless analytics
To measure traffic we use Vercel Web Analytics which, per its official documentation, uses no cookies and no persistent identifiers: it works with an anonymous identifier derived from the request that is discarded within 24 hours, so it cannot follow you across days or across sites. We only ever see aggregated data.
Anti-bot verification
Forms are protected with Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated programs. In the standard configuration this site uses, Turnstile sets no tracking cookies; the associated technical processing (browser signals) serves security purposes only and is described in the privacy policy.
Why there is no cookie banner
The Spanish Data Protection Agency's guide (May 2024) exempts from the information and consent duties the technical cookies that enable the service requested by the user — expressly including managing payment and controlling fraud linked to the security of the service — and preference cookies when the user personally chooses the setting, such as the language. Every cookie on this site falls under those two cases, so consent is not required; this page exists for the transparency the guide itself recommends.
If we ever added non-exempt cookies (for example, cookie-based analytics or advertising), we would ask for prior consent through a clear notice with accept and reject options at the same level, as the law requires.
More about Stripe's cookies
Stripe is responsible for its security cookies and describes them in its own policy:
How to delete or block cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that blocking NEXT_LOCALE means the site will not remember your language, and blocking Stripe's cookies may prevent you from completing a payment:
Updates to this policy
If the cookie inventory changes, we will update this page and its revision date before enabling any new cookie.
